Neurological Rehabilitation

BahgooKoral OT helps individuals recover and improve their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social functioning after a neurological injury, illness, or condition. Our primary goal is to enhance the patient's quality of life by promoting independence, restoring abilities, and adapting to limitations caused by neurological disorders.

Why Us

As occupational therapists, we help bridge the gap between medical recovery and real-life functioning, helping patients live fulfilling, independent lives despite neurological challenges.

Out treatment goals are customized to align with each client’s individual needs, preferences, and priorities. Some goals include:

  1. ADL Training: OTs help individuals improve their ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs)—essential tasks required for self-care and independence. These activities include dressing, bathing, grooming, eating, toileting, and mobility. We work with clients to develop skills, adapt environments, and provide tools or strategies that enable them to complete these tasks safely and effectively.

  2. Motor Skill Retraining: rebuilding strength and coordination for tasks like feeding or typing

  3. Cognitive RehabilitationUsing different exercises and tools to improve cognitive factors such as memory, attention, language, and thought processing. We also use memory aids, calendars, or task organizers to support planning and memory deficits.
